First, I would like to address the negative reviews that have been circulating. It is important to approach these opinions with an understanding that they may stem from individual circumstances that do not reflect the overall experience. My wife and I did not encounter any of the issues mentioned during our visit. The view was absolutely breathtaking—truly unparalleled and exceptional in every regard. I cannot emphasize enough how remarkable it was. In terms of service, our experience with Roman was exemplary; he provided outstanding assistance throughout the evening. I would rate his service a perfect 10 out of 10. If you find yourself at this restaurant, I highly recommend requesting him, as he will ensure that your dining experience is nothing short of extraordinary. Now, regarding the culinary offerings, we indulged in the seafood platter, which featured an impressive 2 pounds of lobster accompanied by exquisite pasta. The quality of the food is exceptional, and I must admit, I felt completely satisfied after our meal. This restaurant is a must-visit if you are in Brooklyn, New York.

Cecconi’s restaurant is absolutely beautiful indoors, but we had a waterfront view outside which was also amazing. The food was spectacular and I always appreciate an Italian restaurant that prioritizes hiring Italian staff. Every course was well portioned and my lobster spaghetti had a lovely tomato base sauce that was subtle and allowed the lobster to shine. 10/10!

I just had lunch there with my wife and we ate at the bar. So that’s a good tip right there. People were waiting at the door and the staff was taking names but we waltzed right in. You can often do that if you’re willing to sit at the bar which, let’s fact it, is often more interesting than a table. The bar had plenty of seating and we had a view of the two bridges and the water. Service was great. We had avocado and chick pea dip with crudites and wow, the crudites were gorgeous. I’ll post a photo. also had two drinks, the branzino (very flavorful) and the calamari appetizer. It was a lovely afternoon. The staff was great. They did bring a second order of our entrees thinking we had not been served yet but that’s a mistake I can live with. Of course, we did not eat twice but I’m sure someone got their food quickly at another table. :) Total tab without tip was 144. It’s a little pricey but you have to consider the view......

Grabbed dinner and drinks here before heading up to a friends birthday next door at Dumbo House and I was overall very impressed by the place after not stopping by for a number of years. As a native New Yorker, I can see how everyone would want to check Cecconi’s out after taking in the iconic Dumbo Ferris Wheel and views of Manhattan and the bridges. The space itself is large and spread out, and the food and service particularly from the bartender while I awaited my friend who was running late were great. Started off with an espresso martini from the bar which was crafted expertly. Then moved on to the dishes of the whipped ricotta, the beef carpaccio, the octopus and the kale salad before finishing off the rich tiramisu. Overall, awesome service, meal and space. Will definitely be back.

On Friday, 5/23/25, I celebrated my son’s college graduation with dinner inviting family and friends. I have been communicating with Jillian, Cecconi’s private events assistant manager, since March to set up this dinner. I am extremely pleased and happy that I chose Cecconi’s for this moment. Last night was absolutely wonderful!! I didn’t drink as much as I’d have liked because I was too busy interacting with my family and friends. I loved that everyone was enjoying themselves. It was cool seeing my son’s and his friends having a good time. Am I biased because of the moment I was celebrating? Maybe..... but the food was delicious and the service was great. Jose and the other gentleman whose name I can’t remember were wonderful. Both of them were pleasant and gracious. Entrees were eggplant parmigiana, chicken paillard, and salmon broccolini with sides, of course. Dessert was tiramisu and lemon sorbet. These dishes are from the private events menu selection. Nevertheless, all were delicious. You can view the regular menu to Cecconi’s Dumbo on their website or Google. This review is based on the private events space so the price per person is 100 because of that. However, if you walk in or reserve a table the cost per person could definitely be less depending upon your meal and drink. That review is the next paragraph. I first came to Cecconi’s the second week of May 2025 to check out the restaurant and the space I had a contract for. After meeting with Jillian, 2 of my friends and I had a meal. The service that day was very good. No complaints at all. I had a reservation for 3 and we chose to sit on the outside part of restaurant. It was a delicious meal, delicious drinks and a beautiful view. *The pic of the rigatoni bolognese was when I had a late lunch with my 2 friends.*

The staff welcomed us with warmth, setting the tone for a relaxed lunch. We toasted with crisp bubbles, and let the world slow down for a while. Between the sparkling glasses, the soft buzz of conversation, and the breathtaking view. Wrapped up in a perfect New York moment. Dont miss out on this place.

A slice of Italy with a view to match This place is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and charm. The food was nothing short of incredible — fresh pasta, rich flavors, and that perfect touch of homemade Italian love in every bite. What truly set this place apart was the view. Watching the sunset while enjoying a glass of wine and a plate of truffle risotto felt like a scene from a movie. The ambiance is elegant yet cozy, making it perfect for a romantic evening or a special gathering. Highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic Italian cuisine paired with breathtaking scenery. This experience fed both my soul and my stomach.

Located at the Tiem Out New York, this fine dining place offers a great menu for food and drinks. The staff is very courteous and attentive. We stayed by the bar since we were there for drinks primarily and wanted to enjoy the pizza craft. The bar tender was very helpful and ensured we had a great experience. What deserves a special mention? Rhr pizza here is perfect and prepped with finesse. The view is perfect. I'm definitely gonna come back in April when they open outdoor seating options. What could be better? There could be some craft beer options as well.
